Common Problems with Ceiling Air Coolers and How to Fix Them

Ceiling Air Cooler may face minor issues over time, most of which can be resolved with simple troubleshooting-here are key problems and fixes.

Poor Cooling Performance

If Ceiling Air Cooler doesn't cool effectively, first check the cooling pads: clogged or dry pads reduce evaporation. Rinse dirty pads with water; replace them if they're torn. Ensure the water tank is full-low water stops pad moistening. Also, check if the space is well-ventilated: closed windows trap warm air, so open them slightly to let hot air escape and boost cooling.

Water Leaks

Leaks often come from a cracked water tank or loose hoses. Inspect the tank for cracks; if found, replace it. Tighten any loose hoses connected to the pump-leaky hoses can be sealed with waterproof tape or replaced. Ensure the water level doesn't exceed the tank's limit, as overflow also causes leak.

Unusual Noise

Loud sounds usually stem from dusty fan blades or a dry motor. Wipe fan blades to remove dust buildup that causes vibration. Lubricate the motor's moving parts with appropriate lubricant-dry parts rub together and create noise. If the noise persists, check if the unit is wobbling: loose mounting bolts can cause rattling, so tighten them to stabilize the Ceiling Air Cooler.

Pump Not Working

A non-functional pump may be blocked by debris. Turn off the unit, remove the pump, and clear any dirt from its inlet. If the pump still doesn't run, check the power connection-ensure the unit is plugged in properly. If issues continue, replace the pump with a compatible model.
