Performance advantages of evaporative condenser

1. Water saving

Evaporative condenser makes full use of the latent heat of vaporization of water. The general water-cooled condenser can take away 16.75 ~ 25.12KJ heat per 1Kg cooling water, while 1Kg water can take away about 2428KJ heat by evaporation at room temperature. Therefore, the theoretical water consumption of evaporative condenser is only 1% of that of water-cooled condenser, considering splash loss, sewage water change and other factors. The actual water consumption is about 5% to 10% of the water-cooled type. Evaporative chiller greatly reduces the loss of water, which is of great significance for the north of China where water resources are seriously insufficient.

 

2. Energy saving

The condensing capacity of the air-cooled condenser is limited by the ambient dry bulb temperature, and the evaporative condenser is limited by the ambient wet bulb temperature, and the wet bulb temperature is 8 to 14 ° C lower than the general dry bulb temperature, coupled with the negative pressure environment caused by the upper fan to the equipment, so the condensing temperature of the evaporative condenser is lower than that of the air-cooled condenser. When the condensing temperature increases by 1℃, the power consumption per unit cooling capacity will increase by 3% to 3.5%, so the total power consumption of evaporative condenser will also be significantly reduced, and the energy saving effect is obvious. In the HVAC system compared to other coolers can save 20% to 40% energy.

 

3. Compact structure

Because there is no need to set up a cooling tower, the whole device is compact in structure, small in size, small in floor space, convenient in installation, and small in daily maintenance.

 

4, do not pollute the environment

Many chemical plants used to use shell and tube type or leaching condenser, due to high condensing pressure in the summer, often use "cavitation pressure reduction", but each release is not non-condensable gas, which contains a lot of ammonia, according to the relevant departments sampling analysis, sometimes as high as 90%, not only ammonia loss is quite serious, but also caused environmental pollution. However, this phenomenon does not exist after the evaporative condenser is used.

 

At present, evaporative condenser is widely used in Western developed countries, in the four applications, due to the lack of water in Northwest China, evaporative condenser is used more in Northwest China, hotels, office buildings, shopping malls and other civil buildings and workshops and cold storage, greenhouse and other cooling and air-conditioning equipment are basically used evaporative condenser.

For example, the 10,000-ton cold storage of a fisheries company was originally configured with a vertical shell and tube condenser, and the cooling water is directly provided with natural lake water and three pumps. The condenser used is seriously corroded and the equipment maintenance is high. Later, evaporative condenser was used to replace the original non-vertical shell and tube condenser, which saved about 300,000 yuan per year, and the equipment failure rate became smaller and the improvement effect was obvious in all aspects.
